Keyshawn Johnson is very proud Nebraska football is going to have a California feel.
On Sunday, the former NFL star shared a photo that featured three Nebraska commits from California. On the bottom of the image, Johnson wrote “Calibraska.”
The three players: Keyshawn’s son and WR Keyshawn Jr., QB Tristan Gebbia, WR Tyjon Lindsey.
“Can’t wait to watch these 3 play #GBR,” Johnson wrote on Twitter.

Of the three players, Lindsey is the newest Nebraska commit. Previously an Ohio State commit, Lindsey announced his de-commitment late Tuesday/early Wednesday.
Lindsey committed to Nebraska on Saturday. The 4-star receiver is rated No. 6 at his position nationally.

The other two, Keyshawn Jr. and Gebbia, are high school teammates with Calabasas. Gebbia, a 4-star QB, is California’s No. 21 prospect for 2017. Johnson is a 3-star receiver rated No. 38 from California.

Nebraska is set for a spring game on Saturday, April 15. The 2017 regular season begins Sept. 2 at home against Arkansas State.
The 2016 Huskers team finished 9-4 (6-3 Big Ten), losing to Tennessee in the Music City Bowl.
