WR Keyan Williams has been granted his released to transfer from Nebraska football, he announced Monday morning.

Williams leaves the team after two seasons in Lincoln and two seasons at Fresno State. His father was, Keith Williams, who coached wide receivers during Mike Riley’s tenure leading the team. Keyan Williams had one reception for 19 yards in 3 games in 2017.
His departure brings Nebraska down to 86 scholarships. That’s one above the NCAA limit of 85, so expect at least one more move for the Huskers to get under the limit.
