Nebraska is loaded at wide receiver this year, but will lose three of its best to graduation in December.
That’s why adding 5-star WR Joseph Lewis would be a massive get for the Huskers, and he’s set to visit Lincoln this weekend, 247Sports reported.
Lewis is the No. 13 player and No. 2 WR in the class of 2017. He visited Nebraska in June for a camp and was set to return last month, but canceled the trip after Huskers punter Sam Foltz died in a car accident.
Lewis, a Los Angeles native, has USC and Arizona at the top of his list, but Nebraska is still considered a contender.
Nebraska has the No. 30 class in the country, according to 247Sports. In that class are two 4-star wide receivers — Keyshawn Johnson and Jaevon McQuitty.
Here are Lewis’s sophomore highlights.
