On third down in overtime, with Nebraska needing a touchdown to tie and an extra point to win, Husker quarterback Tommy Armstrong threw an incomplete pass to wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp.
However, Westerkamp fell down during the play and many Husker fans are arguing the referee’s should have called pass interference on Badgers linebacker T.J. Watt.

Watt cut off Westerkamp’s route during the play, making it likely the officials missed a crucial call that led to a fourth down incompletion which sealed the game for Wisconsin.
Whether or not it was a missed call, Westerkamp’s mother, Kim, was not happy about the no-call on Twitter.

However, Jordan was less critical of the officials following the game.
Westerkamp: "It's a tough call to make. It's football. Sometimes it gets called sometimes it doesn't."
