Gangwish walked on at Nebraska in 2011, redshirted that season and didn’t see the field for the next two. In 2014, he was the Huskers’ Lifter of the Year. He played 22 games (12 starts) in his final two years, recording 34 tackles, eight for loss, and two sacks.
The Wood River, Neb., native was a captain as a senior and his dad played at Nebraska in the mid-1980s under Tom Osborne.
