Former Huskers Kenny Bell, Lavonte David, take time to meet fan after Bucs practice
A heartwarming story for your Thursday morning.
After Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice on Wednesday, two former Huskers made time to share a special moment with a lifelong Husker fan.
Xavier Johnson, a 16-year-old former linebacker at Sunlake High School, suffered a serious head injury in a tubing accident in May 2015. He and his family, lifelong Husker fans donning Nebraska and Bucs gear, met former Husker WR Kenny Bell and former LB Lavonte David. Bell and the family and exchanged hugs, fist bumps and well wishes.
