A winter ‘war zone’

Strength and conditioning coach Zach Duval’s winter conditioning can be considered a “war zone” for how demanding it is. But if you ask coach Scott Frost’s former UCF players, they say it’s absolutely worth it.

Coming home

Former Omaha (Neb.) North quarterback Zach Martin is coming home. He is set to be a graduate assistant on Frost’s staff helping with tight ends.

First-year QB starters

How have former Nebraska quarterbacks fared in their first seasons as the full-time starter? A look back shows a mixed bag of results.

Bigger than himself

Nebraska kicker Drew Brown opted to wear No. 27 in the East-West Shrine Game over his usual No. 34. In doing so, he showed that he plays for more than just himself. He also plays for his friend and teammate Sam Foltz.

An interesting road

Casey Rogers’ path to Nebraska was an interesting one. It even included a meeting with Alabama coach Nick Saban that ultimately served as motivation.
