As a junior for the Huskers, the Richmond (Va.) native poured in 16.6 points per game while leading the Huskers in both minutes and rebounds. A 3-point sharpshooter, White connected on 87 3-point field goals in 2015-16, which was good for fourth in the conference.
This is the second transfer for White, who started all 34 games for Nebraska in 2015-2016. He transferred to Tim Miles’ program in 2014 after playing two seasons at Kansas and leaves after two years in Lincoln.
According to Rothstein, White intends to transfer as a graduate transfer and will be eligible to play for the school of his choice next season. No reason for his request has been reported.
