Nebraska is hoping to add another California talent to its 2017 recruiting class. But Huskers fans won’t find out if they do until Feb. 1 — National Signing Day.
Deommodore Lenoir said on Twitter late Tuesday night that he will announce his commitment on signing day. The 4-star cornerback is choosing between Nebraska, Oregon and UCLA, among others.

Lenoir decommitted from Oregon last month after the Ducks parted ways with head coach Mark Helfrich. The Los Angeles native is rated as the No. 96 prospect in the 2017 class and the 10th-best cornerback, according to 247 Sports.
Nebraska currently has the 32nd-best 2017 class. There are 14 members in the Huskers current recruiting class, two of whom (3-star WR Keyshawn Johnson and 4-star QB Tristan Gebbia) hail from California.
