Pickering also had an offer from Vanderbilt and was getting interest from Florida and Texas. With Pickering’s announcement, Nebraska’s 2018 class now has nine commits, including three 4-star wide receivers, a 4-star tight end and a 4-star cornerback. It’s early, but the Cornhuskers have the No. 11 class in the nation, according to 247Sports.
Even coach Mike Riley took to Twitter to do a little bragging about his new kicker.
