P.J. Fleck has made another hire at Minnesota, and this one might be his most shocking move yet.
Pete Thamel of Sports Illustrated reports that Ohio State offensive coordinator Ed Warinner will join Fleck’s staff as the Gophers’ offensive line coach.

Warinner was previously reported to be a candidate for offensive coordinator at Minnesota, but it was reported earlier today that the arrangement was not expected to work out. Whatever happened since then, it means that Warinner will join a staff that also includes former Arkansas defensive coordinator Robb Smith.
Warinner was @FootballScoop's OL coach of the year in 2012 and 2014, plus a finalist in 2011.
Yeah, I'll take him as the #Gophers OL coach.

Former Indiana coach Kevin Wilson will take over as offensive coordinator at Ohio State. Given that Wilson was widely reported to be incoming while Warinner was still in Columbus, it’s likely Warinner wasn’t in Ohio State’s plans for next season.
