P.J. Fleck made a rather seamless transition from Row The Boat to Ski-U-Mah on Friday. Recruits aren’t having much trouble making the switch, either.
Three more recruits — DE Esezi Otomewo, DT Noah Hickcox and OG John Schmitz — flipped their verbal commitments from Western Michigan to Minnesota on Friday night. That brought the total to six flipped commits for Fleck on his first day. LB Trenton Guthrie, QB Tanner Morgan and WR Chris Bell also announced their commitments to Minnesota on Friday night.
Otomewo is a 3-star DE from Indianapolis. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound prospect is rated as the 89th-best weak-side DE in the 2017 class, according to 247 Sports.

Hickcox could potentially line up next to Otomewo on a Minnesota defensive line of the future. Also a 3-star recruit, Hickcox is rated as the No. 88 defensive tackle in the class.
