Henderson is a 3-star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite, which ranks him as the No. 71 cornerback in the Class of 2018 and the No. 12 player in Illinois. He becomes the 11th recruit in P.J. Fleck’s first recruiting class as Minnesota’s head coach. Each of those players is rated as a 3-star recruit on 247Sports Composite rankings, but that high number of commits puts Fleck’s class as No. 10 in the nation and fourth in the Big Ten.
Henderson also had offers from Iowa, Indiana, Boston College and Cincinnati, among other schools.
