Mitch Leidner, who missed Minnesota’s last game, was reportedly taking reps with the first-team during warmups before the Gophers noon game against Rutgers.

Leidner is one of the top-rated quarterbacks in the Big Ten and has thrown for 1,006 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions this season. He also has 142 rushing yards and three scores on the ground.
Leidner suffered the concussion in an Oct. 8 game against Iowa and finished the game. He missed the Gophers’ contest against Maryland the following week.
The Gophers enter Saturday’s game at 4-2 with Rutgers, Illinois and Purdue as the next three games on their schedule.
