Leidner became the most accurate passer in school history following the game against the Nittany Lions, where he completed 24 of 40 passes for 241 yards, a touchdown and an interception, raising his all-time completion percentage to 57.3.

Leidner’s all-time completion percentage of 57.3 passed former Minnesota quarterbacks Mark Carlson, Corey Sauter and Adam Weber’s all-time percentage of 57.
Leidner is also tied for fifth all-time for passing touchdowns with 33, sharing the spot with former Gophers Mike Hohensee and Rickey Foggie. Leidner needs 39 more touchdown passes to break Weber’s all-time record of 72 touchdown tosses.
The newest most accurate passer in Gopher history will have a chance to widen his lead from the other former Gophers this Saturday when Minnesota takes on Iowa.
