Sunday has been one heck of a day for Minnesota football.
Coach P.J. Fleck and Golden Gophers fans across the country should be smiling after the day’s developments. On Sunday night, Solomon Brown became the fifth recruit of the day to commit to Minnesota.

According to 247Sports, Brown is a 3-star cornerback from Largo, Fla. The 5-foot-11 defensive back ranks as the No. 110 cornerback in the Class of 2019.
Minnesota had Brown, outside linebackers Donald Willis and James Gordon IV, defensive tackle DeAngelo Griffin and safety T.J. Robinson commit on Sunday. Three of the five are from the state of Florida, while another is from Georgia, as Fleck seems to be recruiting well in the South.
Here is Minnesota’s 2019 class after the Sunday additions. With 16 commits, the Golden Gophers class now ranks as No. 19 in the country and No. 4 in the Big Ten.
Three-star DB Solomon Brown (@ksb_xxvii) from Florida had over 20 offers before committing tonight to the #Gophers. He was also considering Iowa and Iowa State. @Coach_Addae furthers his impact even more today on the #ROWpher19 class.https://t.co/Z8WlMwELl2 pic.twitter.com/5OHh0dXdaS
