Minnesota football coach P.J. Fleck added a big commitment for the 2018 class, landing coveted Ohio defensive end Alex Reigelsperger.
The defensive end announced his commitment to the Gophers on Sunday night on Twitter.

Reigelsperger is from Dayton, Ohio, and plays for Wayne High School. 247 Sports rates Reigelsperger, listed at 6-foot-3, 247 pounds, as a 3-star recruit for 2018.
The defensive lineman was on an unofficial visit to Minnesota this weekend. Though the Gophers lost, they almost rallied to stun 18th-ranked Michigan State.
Reigelsperger becomes Minnesota’s highest-rated commit of the 2018 class, which is now up to 23 commits. He previously had been a Kentucky commit before he de-committed Oct. 9.
The Ohio recruit announced that decision on Twitter as well.
“After long, long talks with my family..I have decided to re-open my recruitment,” he tweeted. “Thank you to Stoops and ALL of BBN.”
