A couple hours later, the Golden Gophers added to their recruiting class as Keonte Schad, a 2019 defensive tackle from Iowa Falls, Iowa, announced his commitment.

Schad’s announcement follows Chris Daniels, another JUCO defensive tackle who committed to Minnesota on Saturday.
Schad is a 6-foot-4, 275-pound interior lineman who last played at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa. He is unranked by 247Sports.
Minnesota has the No. 37 overall class for 2019 and the No. 8 class in the Big Ten. Schad is the second defensive tackle who has committed to the Golden Gophers for the 2019 class.
