Three-star defensive tackle and Minnesota commit Noah Shannon is living the 600-pound life, and it’s not his body weight.
The 6-foot-2.5, 305-pound Shannon is the most recent addition to the 2018 Golden Gophers recruiting class, but he’s already flexing his strength in the squat category after the Oswego (Ill.) High School Twitter page shared a video of him squatting 600 pounds.

Shannon committed to Minnesota on May 9 and became the third defensive tackle to join the class. Minnesota currently has the No. 14 nationally 2018 football recruiting class.
