Harris, who just finished his first season with Minnesota, joins forward Davonte Fitzgerald as players on the 2017-18 roster who will transfer from the Golden Gophers. Fitzgerald will be a graduate transfer and will not have to sit out a season once he transfers.
Harris, who is unsurprisingly not a graduate transfer, will have to sit out one season. The 6-foot-2 guard from New Jersey was ranked as a 3-star prospect coming out of high school, according to 247Sports.
He averaged 14.1 minutes and 3.9 points per game this season. Harris also finished third on the team in made 3-pointers with 38.
