Minnesota moved its spring game up from Saturday to Thursday to avoid the heavy rain and thunderstorms that are sweeping the Midwest. It’s P.J. Fleck’s second spring as head coach of the Gophers after going 5-7 in his first season.
Tyler Johnson was Minnesota’s leading receiver by a large margin in 2017. He made 35 catches for 677 yards and 7 touchdowns, easily outpacing the rest of the team’s pass-catchers.
