“I want to thank my high school coaches. Without you I never could have gotten to the place I am today,” Guedet wrote on Twitter. “Second, to all my brothers back home who pushed me and helped me grow, you will always be family. I want to thank all the college coaches who gave me the opportunity to come and see your facilities. With that said, I am 100% committed to the University of Minnesota!”
Guedet, who stands at 6-foot-7, 255 pounds, is ranked as the No. 76 offensive tackle and 20th-best player from Illinois in the 2019 recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports’ composite ratings. He’s the top-rated recruit so far in the Gophers’ 2019 class.
