“First I want to thank my parents and extended family for all the support they’ve given me throughout my life,” Clark wrote in his Twitter announcement. “I also want to thank all the coaches I’ve been blessed to have [mentored] me. … After much thought, discussion and prayer I’ve made the decision to accept the opportunity to attend the University of Minnesota!”
Clark, listed at 6-foot-5, 210 pounds, picked up the Minnesota offer in April and also had offers from Iowa, Purdue, Cal and others. Clark is the 11th commit in Minnesota’s 2019 class, which is ranked 24th in the country and sixth in the Big Ten.
