Three additional Minnesota players were served restraining orders that will keep them from attending home games, Fox 9 reported Friday afternoon. There are now a total of five Minnesota players who are not allowed to attend or play in home games at TCF Bank Stadium.
Ray Buford, KiAnte Hardin and Dior Johnson were issued temporary restraining orders on Friday, Fox 9 reported. Those three players join Carlton Djam and Tamarion Johnson, who were issued restraining orders earlier in the week.
This comes after four of the players — Johnson, Johnson, Buford and Hardin — were suspended by the team after a sexual assault investigation. The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office did not file charges following a Sept. 2 incident due to “insufficient admissible evidence,” Fox 9 reported.
The five players will all miss this weekend’s game against Rutgers.
