LAKESHORE, Mich. — His contributions on the field are expected to make a big impact. But Corey Malone-Hatcher is delivering a big impact off the field, as well. Particularly on the Michigan’s 2017 recruiting class.
Malone-Hatcher is a 4-star defensive end from St. Joseph (Mich.) High who committed to Michigan back in June of 2016. He took to Twitter to announce that he would be the best recruiting recruit the fans have ever seen, with tweets like this:

Indeed, he’s made five different highlight videos for prospects that Michigan is after. Among them is 5-star Donovan Peoples-Jones, and 4-stars Ambry Thomas, Jaylen Kelly-Powell and Tarik Black. His strategy to get these players is something we as recruiting writers haven’t seen before. He’s actively tweeting out that Michigan wants them, and that Ann Arbor is “their home.”
On Friday night, his high school career came to an end when St. Joseph lost to Stevensville Lakeshore 30-7 in the opening round of playoffs.
Malone-Hatcher will be enrolling at Michigan in January, which means that the next time he plays football, it’ll be in maize and blue during the annual Michigan Spring Game. He discussed all of that and more in the video below:
