Jack Harbaugh has taught football to thousands of players and coaches over the years, including sons John and Jim, who followed him into the profession. The elder Harbaugh has accompanied Jim and the Michigan football team on their trip to Rome, where he’s found new students to teach.
One of the first stops on Michigan’s first day in Rome was to a refugee camp. That’s where Jack and Jim, playing the role of teacher’s aide, attempted to explain the differences between American football and the game the rest of the world calls football.
It’s probably a safe bet that the man will need further instructions, but if Jack Harbaugh thinks he could have been a “good quarterback” then who are we to question?
