It turns out it was a member of the international media.
That’s who allegedly was in possession of Tom Brady’s game-worn jersey, which went missing after he won his fifth Super Bowl ring last month. The NFL announced Monday that it recovered Brady’s jersey — as well as his uniform from the Patriots’ Super Bowl win in 2015 — thanks to an investigation by both the NFL and “the FBI and other law enforcement authorities.”
Six weeks after the Super Bowl, the NFL said “the items were found in the possession of a credentialed member of the international media.”

Brady, a former Michigan star, noticed his jersey was missing in the locker room after New England came back to beat Atlanta 34-28 in overtime of Super Bowl LI on Feb. 5.
Maybe he can wear the jersey, and his five rings, next time he visits Ann Arbor.
