Texas defensive back twins German and Gemon Green have committed to Michigan.
The 3-star 2018 cornerbacks from DeSoto, Texas announced the decision Thursday afternoon on Twitter.
“Without hesitation I would like to announce that I am fully committed to the prestigious University of Michigan,” Gemon Green wrote.

Gemon Green, a 6-foot-2, 165-pound recruit, is rated by 247 Sports’ composite as the No. 47 prospect in Texas for 2018. Nationally, he’s No. 32 as a cornerback and No. 340 overall.
German Green is also a 3-star. He’s 6-foot-2 and 168 pounds. 247 Sports ranks him No. 120 for Texas and No. 84 nationally at cornerback.
The brothers’ commitment gives the Wolverines seven for the 2018 class. On 247 Sports’ team rankings, the Wolverines rank No. 12 in the country with Thursday’s news.
DeSoto won a state championship in 2016.
