The College Football Playoff selection committee ranked Michigan at No. 6 in the country in the latest rankings but do the Wolverines have a case to be one of the four best teams in the country? FS1’s Skip Bayless thinks so.
“If the committee’s mission was to identify the best four teams in the country, and I thought that was their definition, that was their mandate,” Bayless said on FS1’s “Undisputed” on Monday. “Michigan, to me, is clearly one of the four best teams in the country. It’s not even debatable they’re one of the best four teams.”
After starting the season 9-0, the Wolverines finished the regular season 10-2 after losing two of their final three regular-season games to Iowa and Ohio State. Michigan will play Florida State in the Capital One Orange Bowl.
