Michigan’s Moe Wagner got invited to the NBA combine, but he may still be wise to return to Michigan.
Tuesday, Detroit Free Press columnist Mark Snyder quoted ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, who says “NBA guys” are telling Wagner to go back to school.

Wagner, a 6-foot-11 German forward, just finished his sophomore season with the Wolverines. He averaged 12.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game and scored 26 points in the NCAA Tournament against Louisville.
ESPN NBA draft expert Chad Ford said during the tournament that Wagner could be a first-round pick in this year’s draft, but NBADraft.net lists Wagner in the second round of next season’s.
Meanwhile, NBA Draft Net's latest update (May 3) has D.J. Wilson (23), Charles Matthews (30) and Moe Wagner (39) all going in 2018.
