Jim Harbaugh may no longer be allowed to take his players on another spring break trip, but it looks like something even bigger could be in the works.
The plan, which has apparently been in the works for months, would also involve educational trips around the city and players possibly staying to study abroad.
The NCAA legislation passed on Friday only restricts trips taken during vacation periods, so it wouldn’t apply to this plan. However, considering how much blowback Michigan got last year for its Florida camps, one can only imagine how some are going to feel about this.
2016: Michigan goes to Florida, trip banned for future.
2017: Michigan heads to Rome. Trip sure to be banned.
2018: Michigan visits Mars?
