ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Michigan has a solid visitors list this weekend for its matchup against Illinois.
It won’t be a visitor list as good as the one from Wisconsin week, but Michigan boasts two 4-stars, and a 3-star in the weekend’s three biggest visitors. Here’s a quick look at who they are:
- South Jordan (Utah) 4-star DT Jay Tufele — Ranked among the top 50 players nationally, Tufele is the No. 2 overall DT in the country. Considered an Ohio State lean with Oregon in close pursuit, Tufele must be blown away by Michigan this weekend.
- Beaver Falls (Pa.) 4-star DT Donovan Jeter — Do you really not like Brian Kelly? Then you might want to vote for Jeter as your most-wanted guy. Jeter decommitted from Notre Dame on Monday and immediately scheduled an official visit to Michigan for Saturday’s game. Jeter is ranked inside the top 300 and is considered the No. 8 player from Pennsylvania. He’s still considering the Irish, along with Penn State and Pitt, as well.
- Marcus (Texas) 3-star CB Matt Hankins — The most underrated Michigan target in my opinion, Hankins plays mean football down in Texas, and has some of the best man-to-man coverage among Michigan CB targets. If you like the technique Michigan senior Jourdan Lewis uses, then you might want to vote for Hankins, despite his national ranking outside of the top 800.
