The NCAA Tournament selection show can be a nerve-wracking process for teams involved, but Michigan didn’t have too much to worry about. The Wolverines received an automatic qualifying bid thanks to their Big Ten Tournament championship, so all they had to do was wait to find out their seed and opponent.
But at least for Michigan center Moe Wagner, the show had some drama.
Mo Wagner says he was legit sweating as the show was going on. Thought they forgot about Michigan.

The show introduced new rules this year, so Michigan’s name was actually announced twice. The first time came when the hosts announced each automatic qualifier, and then second when they announced the actual matchups in the bracket.
Whatever Michigan goes, Wagner will be a big part of the Wolverines’ success. He’s the team’s leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 14.5 of the former and 7.1 of the latter.
