Michigan’s Mason Cole to make 51st start
Wolverines left tackle Mason Cole, a four-year starter about to tie a record for program starts, will appear in his final game for Michigan on New Year’s Day at noon in the Outback Bowl in Tampa. He and linebacker Mike McCray were captains this season.

Michigan regent will match donations to ChadTough fundraiser
Michigan regent Ron Weiser announced on Tuesday that he will match donations to the ChadTough fundraiser up to $1 million. “The Wolverines have shown what happens when you find a cause that’s greater than yourself and you embrace it,” ChadTough co-founder Tammi Carr said in a press release.
DE Chase Winovich has raised more than $130,000 for ChadTough Foundation
Michigan defensive end Chase Winovich has already raised more than $130,000 for the ChadTough foundation. Winovich announced Dec. 20 that if he met a fundraising goal of $15,000 to benefit the ChadTough Foundation, he would dye his hair orange for the Outback Bowl.
