Jim Harbaugh was on the airwaves Wednesday morning, talking about his offensive line and, inevitably, milk with WKTA’s “The Michigan Insider.”
We’ll get to the dairy products in a minute, but first, Harbaugh addressed his players in the offensive trenches. The second-year Wolverines coach said “you always have to have six to seven guys available, eight available, that are in the rotation and available to play.”
Tackle Ben Bredeson has been banged up recently, but Harbaugh noted when he’s healthy, he’ll be the starter.
“It’s whatever’s best for the team. Ben (Bredeson) has been working through some things,” Harbaugh said. “If he can get back to full health, he’s the guy. He’s proven that. You always have to have 6-7 guys available, eight available, that are in the rotation and available to play. That’s when you have a completely healthy line. It’s been good that guys are stepping up.”
As for the milk, Harbaugh noted his nephew, Riley Crean (Tom’s son) drinks a “gallon a day.” Unfortunately for the radio hosts, they didn’t score any free milk with Harbaugh on the program.
