Michigan quarterback Brandon Peters went down with an injury and was carted off the field in the third quarter against Wisconsin on Saturday.
Peters was driven into the ground on the play. There was no penalty, though some disagreed with the officials.
That includes Michigan offensive lineman Grant Newsome.
“Is that not a flag?” Newsome tweeted. “Thought you couldn’t drive a QB into the ground.”

Newsome later had kind words for Peters.
“Two years in a row. Praying for you BP,” Newsome tweeted.
Peters was 9 for 18 for 157 yards before the injury. He also lost a fumble. With Peters’ injury, John O’Korn took over at quarterback for the Wolverines.
