After seeing action sparingly in two years at Michigan, kicker/punter Ryan Tice will be signing with Tennessee for his final two years of eligibility, according to 247Sports.
Tice only saw action during the 2016 season, handling three kickoffs, missing one field goal and going 10-for-10 on extra points in five games.
He was then stuck behind Quinn Nordin at kicker and Brad Robbins at punter in 2017.
In the 247 article, Tice said he will walk on and will compete to be the Volunteers starting kicker next season.
“They told me the best player will play,” Tice said in the article. “That’s all I needed to hear.”
He will likely compete with two others for the starting job with the Vols.
