Class of 2017 quarterback prospect and Michigan commit Dylan McCaffrey has accepted in invitation to play in the inaugural Polynesian Bowl on Jan. 21 in Hawaii, according to FOX Sports’ Bruce Feldman.
The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame announced the creation of the Polynesian Bowl, which will feature top high school players of Polynesian descent and other heritages, in September. NFL players Marcus Mariota and Ronnie Stanley will be team captains.
McCaffrey, the younger brother of Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey, committed to Michigan in February. He’s ranked as a 4-star recruit and chose the Wolverines over Duke, Nebraska and Penn State, among others.
