Michigan topped Purdue on Sunday to win its second straight Big Ten Tournament title in a 75-66 game. The Wolverines seem to be peaking just as March arrives, and that’s welcome news for coach John Beilein.
With Michigan’s win comes the privilege to cut down the nets at Madison Square Garden. To the victors go the spoils:

Sure, MSG is going to have to put some new nets back up there real quick because the Big East Tournament is coming to town this week, but that’s okay. Michigan’s earned this by not just winning four straight games in the tournament, but by winning nine games in a row finishing off that streak by beating the top-ranked teams in the country in Michigan State and Purdue.
