A year after losing on a shocking last-second botched punt to its in-state rival, Michigan redeemed itself Saturday with a 32-23 win over Michigan State in East Lansing.
After the game, Wolverines players were awfully — and understandably — pumped to end their three-game losing streak to the Spartans.

The win improved Michigan to 8-0 on the season and 5-0 in Big Ten play. The Wolverines are ranked No. 2 in both the AP and Coaches polls and are in prime position for a berth in the Big Ten title game.
After chanting, “It’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine,” the players also posed gleefully with the Paul Bunyan Trophy.
