The long wait for Michigan’s return to the Nike family is over.
Sunday night, TheMDen, the school’s official merchandise retailer, hosted an opening night launch in Ann Arbor that let fans get their hands on the Wolverines’ new Nike gear. They officially joined the Nike family at midnight after their deal with adidas expired.
It even featured a performance by the band and Jim Harbaugh singing Michigan’s fight song. Per ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the average shopper spent $300.
Last week, Michigan’s new football jerseys, featuring Nike’s “Jumpman” logos, may have leaked.
