ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan linebacker Mike McCray injured his left knee with less than a minute left in the first quarter against Maryland, but returned about six minutes into the second quarter to defend against Maryland’s second drive of the quarter
McCray led Michigan with three tackles Saturday, as Michigan, No. 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings, holds a 14-0 lead against Maryland at Michigan Stadium entering the second quarter.
McCray was down at Michigan’s sideline and had to be helped off the field, and freshman Devin Bush replaced McCray on the drive. McCray entered Saturday’s game third on the team with 43 tackles.
