Don’t count Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh as a viewer of Monday night’s Alabama-Clemson classic.
While ESPN interviewed him Tuesday at the Vanderbilt-Kentucky basketball game, Harbaugh admitted that he didn’t even watch the game.
He fell asleep.
“Well, I heard it was a great game,” Harbaugh said. “I have it TiVo’d. I fell asleep. But I heard it was an incredible game.”
Clemson beat defending national champion Alabama, 35-31, when QB Deshaun Watson completed a 2-yard TD pass to Hunter Renfrow with only 1 second remaining. Watson had 420 passing yards, 43 rushing yards and accounted for 4 TDs in the thriller.

Harbaugh is in Nashville, Tenn., for the American Football Coaches Association convention.
At Tuesday’s game, a fan made a half-court shot to win a three-year lease on an Acura TLX. Harbaugh reportedly gave the fan a high-five, too.
