Michigan fans haven’t been biting their nails much in the last three weeks.
After dismantling Rutgers 78-0 back on Oct. 8, the Wolverines showed no signs of rust coming off a bye week against Illinois. No. 3 Michigan scored three unanswered touchdowns in the first quarter, leading 21-0 after 15 minutes.
Add that to the Rutgers game and Michigan has outscored its opponents 99-0 in its last five quarters.

At the end of the first quarter, Michigan’s defense had a scoreless streak of 98 minutes, 3 seconds. The last points the Wolverines allowed came in the third quarter of a 14-7 win over Wisconsin on Oct. 1 and since then the team is on a 106-0 run.
Offensively, No. 3 Michigan continues to score at will. The Wolverines’ offensive onslaught Saturday included Tyrone Wheatley’s first career score.
Congrats to Tyrone Wheatley on his first @umichfootball TD!
