So far, it has been another slow weekend in what has been a consistently slow January for Michigan.
As Sunday rolls on, we will keep updating you on what the Wolverines are doing during the last weekend before National Signing Day weekend.
Here’s what we know:
4-start RB O’maury Samuels, Los Lunas, N.M.
Longtime Michigan commit O’maury Samuels took his official visit to Michigan over the weekend. Samuels had seemed destined to go elsewhere at one point, but now the 247Sports Composite 4-star RB prospect is firm with his commitment. He has no other visits planned before National Signing Day on Feb. 1.
Who received visits?
The Wolverines visited Michigan commit Joel Honigford from Sugarcreek (Ohio). Honigford – who parents are Ohio State alumni – has been committed since the summer.

Jim Harbaugh, offensive coordinator Tim Drevno and defensive backs coach Mike Zordich watched Honigford’s basketball game, then headed to dinner with the family.
According to 247Sports.com’s Steve Wiltfong, Harbaugh and linebackers coach Chris Partridge went to see another basketball game, featuring Grafton (Mass.) 3-star safety Ifeatu Melifonwu – a name we hadn’t heard this cycle. The Wolverines haven’t offered him a scholarship yet, but there is some legitimate interest there, granted they went to see him in Massachusetts.
