Michigan football is set to head back to Europe this spring. The Wolverines are planning a trip to France to see both Paris and Normandy, Jim Harbaugh confirmed Wednesday. The team initially voted on a destination for the trip last fall.
Harbaugh expected the trip to take place during the final week of April, after players finish final exams.
“We hope and are planning to go abroad, to Paris and Normandy,” Harbaugh said at a National Signing Day press conference. “We’re closing in on a date. It’ll be after finals are over, somewhere around the 26th of April.”
It will be the second international trip in as many years for Michigan. Harbaugh and company went to Rome last year.
Michigan also confirmed some other important dates on the spring calendar Wednesday. The Wolverines will begin spring practice on March 22, they’ll hold their Pro Day on March 23 and the program’s spring game is tentatively scheduled for April 14.
