Michigan WR Maurice Ways to transfer
Michigan wide receiver Maurice Ways announced Sunday via Instagram that he’ll enroll at California as a graduate transfer for the 2018 college football season. Ways revealed toward the end of 2017 that he would leave Michigan for his final year of eligibility.

On Friday, the Wolverines landed their first quarterback commit from the Class of 2019 in 4-star quarterback Cade McNamara (Reno, Nev.). McNamara (6-foot-1, 187 pounds) is regarded as a top-10 pro-style quarterback, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
