Former Michigan offensive lineman Ja’Raymond Hall has transferred to Central Michigan, the Chippewas announced on Saturday.
Hall, a former 4-star recruit, redshirted his freshman year with the Wolverines. Hall is listed as 6-foot-5 and 282 pounds. He attended Oak Park High School. Hall previously had asked for a release from Michigan.
“We got to know Ja’Raymond well when we recruited him as a high school student,” Central Michigan coach John Bonamego said in an official release. “When he reached out, we were interested because he will fit in well in our locker room and as a student-athlete on the CMU campus.”
Hall will sit out the 2018 season and will be eligible to play starting with the 2019 season.
