A lot of eyes were on the Wolverines and Seminoles on Friday night.
According to numbers released by ESPN, 11.7 million people tuned in to watch Florida State’s 33-32 win in the Orange Bowl. Those numbers make it the second-most watched game of the season before the College Football Playoff semifinals kick off.
Through games on Dec. 30, the only contest which drew more viewers was Ohio State’s epic double-overtime win against Michigan on Nov. 26. The Ohio State-Michigan clash drew more than 17 million viewers and was the most-watched game of the regular season by a wide margin.
That game will likely be topped by Ohio State’s Fiesta Bowl showdown with Clemson on Saturday night (7 p.m. ET).
