Michigan DE Taco Charlton might return to the field Saturday when the fourth-ranked Wolverines take on Penn State. Charlton has been sidelined with an ankle injury he suffered in Michigan’s season opener against Hawaii but a tweet he posted Monday evening alluded to a possible return.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday that Charlton could move to the active roster as he heals.

Charlton has recorded 53 total tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss and nine sacks in his career.
